The best part of Eagle Flight Days is being part of Eagle Flight Days.

Or, as the 2009 theme suggests “get in the game.”

“The whole idea behind Flight Days is to get people involved,” says Sonja Beasley, one of the event organizers. “It's a great community celebration with something for everyone. The thing is, people enjoy Flight Days much more when they participate in the activities.”

For the youngest Eagle residents, there's a baby contest Friday afternoon. For elementary age youngsters Friday's pet show, Saturday's kids craft tent and Sunday's talent show are big hits. The middle school/high school set can enjoy the Eagle Club Scavenger Hunt on Saturday and pool polo on Sunday. And for all ages, there's food and vendor booths lining the Eagle Town Park perimeter, the Flight Days parade Saturday morning, the vintage baseball game Saturday afternoon and music at the park throughout the weekend. But that's just a smattering of what's on tap.

Here's a complete Flight Days line up and inside you will find information about all the activities. Read, enjoy and get in the game.
