Richard “Dick” Turgeon
Richard “Dick” Turgeon passed away on Nov. 12 in Wichita, Kan., at the age of 91 with his four children around him.

He was born in Lucas, S.D., on June 6, 1920. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Frances J. (Clifford) Turgeon.

Dr. Platt was born Jan. 2, 1935, in Manhattan, Kan. He lived and worked in Eagle County as equine veterinarian for many years.

He retired from the town of Vail in 1997 and was proceeded in death by his wife, Charlotte.
